HOW CAN I HELP?

We're so grateful that you want to help! As a worker-owned cooperative business, Riquezas del Campo farm is part of building a solidarity economy that places value on workers rather than profit. Building an alternative, solidarity-based economy is hard work that involves our entire community. That's why we host volunteers through La Colmena Community Garden. Our volunteer work days are not just about pulling weeds or staking tomatoes. They are about supporting a worker-run business that is rooted in and providing food for immigrant and working-class communities in Western Massachusetts.

VOLUNTEERING

Welcome to Riquezas Del Campo! Come support us and join our amazing community of volunteers. Volunteering happens through La Colmena Community Garden, which is on the same plot of land as our Hatfield farm. We cohost volunteer days with our sister organization, the Pioneer Valley Workers Center. You might help with planting, harvesting, organizing or something else entirely! We always are mindful of our different levels of ability and encourage all volunteers regardless of what your level of skill or knowledge is with planting or farming.

Please email us at coop@riquezasdelcampo.farm, or through the contact form on our website, to find out about upcoming volunteer days.

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR TO VOLUNTEER

Thanks for your interest in volunteering! If you're coming to on of our volunteer days, the best thing to wear would be comfortable clothes, with long pants tucked into tall socks and waterproof shoes or boots. Bring plenty of water, and maybe a snack!
